Eye & Vision has two board certified optometrist, who together specialize in tear film and tear system disease as well as diseases of the corneal and external eye. We accept most insurances. All consultations related to general eye care and diseases of the surface of the eye with Dr. Agustin Gonzalez and all consultations related to cataract and refractive surgery will be with Dr. Clarissa De Paz.

Dr. Agustin Gonzalez
Dr. Gonzalez is the first Texas Eye Doctor to devote a significant portion of his practice to the treatment of dry eyes and blepharitis. He founded and is the director of the Dry Eye Clinic at Eye & Vision, the first Dry Eye Clinic in the North Texas area.
In his private office in Richardson Dr. Gonzalez specializes in treating patients with Dry Eyes, Blepharitis, Pterygium, Pingueculum, Corneal Ulcers, Corneal Scars, Corneal swelling, poorly healing Epithelial Defects (non-healing skin-defects in the eye), Ocular Rosacea, and Styes.
Dr. Gonzalez is also available for second opinions on any eye problems.
Dr. Agustin Gonzalez is Texas Optometry Board certified in the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases with a special interest in Cornea & External Disease. He graduated from Jacksonville University and the prestigious Inter American University school of Optometry. He did his Training at the Veterans Administration Hospital in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Dr. Gonzalez is actively involved in Dry Eye research and lectures nationally and internationally. He has published several professional papers and is a certified speaker for various pharmaceutical companies in training physicians on the topic of dry eye.
